Dr. Annie Lin actively maintains a performing career as a soloist, chamber musician, and collaborative pianist with performances that span North America, Asia, and Europe. She has recorded for Capital Records, premiering Michael Garson’s compositions; her solo CD, Annie Lin, was BPC Recording’s premier release. 
 
The former head of the piano division at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas, Dr. Lin has been an Associate Professor of Collaborative Piano at Southern Methodist University, Assistant Professor at Scripps College in Claremont, California, and a Lecturer at the University of Southern California. Her Bachelor, Master and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees are from the University of Southern California where she studied with renowned pianists John Perry and James Bonn, in addition to summer studies with French pianist Cécile Ousset in Toulous, France.
 

Dr. Lin is in high demand as a string and piano collaborator at international competitions: Cooper International (Cleveland), Dallas Chamber International Piano/Violin, Wideman Competition (Shreveport), and the Anne and Charles Eiseman Young Artist Competition (Richardson). Dr. Lin enjoys collaboration with young artists for college auditions and competitions, having produced several hundred recordings with the BPC Recording Company.

As an active performer in the solo and chamber music arena, she and her husband Dr. Steven Hall co-founded the Brandeis Piano Conservatory in Richardson, Texas. They have also toured extensively as a duo-piano team throughout the US and Taiwan. Since 2015, she has been a distinguished College Examiner for the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada, and conducted over 2000 piano assessment exams for all levels. She has also been invited to present sessions at the prestigious National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy, National Music Teachers Association and Texas Music Teachers Association. In addition to her performing and teaching career, Dr. Lin is in strong demand as an adjudicator and clinician.
